The administration of the rights is, among others, the responsibility of Verlag Friedrich Bischoff GmbH, which has itself published a (paid) app for the Gesangbuch and a (paid) app for the Chorbuch.
Devices
The app is available in the Google Play Store and can be used on all Android smartphones, tablets, smartwatches and Windows computers. A Lite version of NAKBuch was developed as a web app for other devices.

Wear OS support
Forgotten your smartphone? No problem, the text contents of the app can be displayed on the smartwatch without any problems (in a pleasant design).
Windows support
To use mobile apps on a Windows 11 PC, the Windows Subsystem for Android™️ (WSA) with the Google Play Store must be installed.
No support for Apple devices
NAKBuch is not available for Apple devices for various reasons.
For one, Apple requires developers to pay an annual fee of 99 USD/299 USD for the “Apple Developer Program” / “Apple Developer Enterprise Program” and, on the other hand, it is not possible with my development setup to create apps for iOS or macOS, as Apple prescribes the use of macOS and the integrated development environment Xcode for the creation of iOS and macOS apps, regardless of technical requirements.
In addition, any processes to publish an app in the App Store are very time-consuming and destroy the entire motivation to develop a free app for Apple devices.
As long as Apple does not change anything about these peculiar conditions, there will be no app for iOS or macOS.
Web App (NAKBuch Lite)
To make the app available for other devices as well, a web app was developed. It offers the most important functions of the Android app and can be used on all devices with a modern browser. NAKBuch Lite was developed as a Progressive Web App (PWA), can be added to the homescreen and behaves almost like a native app.

One UI
NAKBuch was developed according to Samsung’s One UI guidelines. For example, the title bar can be “dragged down” on large devices on any screen to ensure comfortable (one-handed) operation of the top buttons.
